“Corporate Governance Is Only One Part of a Wider Challenge of Corporate Responsibility”

Private Sector Advisory Group members Leo Goldschmidt and Eddy Wymeersch were interviewed together in March in Brussels. Both exemplify the caliber and commitment typical of PSAG members in their volunteer work with the Forum and in their leadership roles in the public and private sectors. Leo Goldschmidt has more than 40 years of experience in the banking sector. He has chaired or been a director of numerous companies and societies, including Banque Degroof and the European Corporate Governance Institute. Eddy Wymeersch, currently chairman of the ECGI, has chaired the Committee of European Securities Regulators, among others. He has been an adviser to the European Commission and to several European financial institutions and stock exchanges, and a consultant to the World Bank and IFC.
